  • Vaccine Information: The information below is information I have compiled to help those seeking vaccines. This is simply my way of relaying some information that might be helpful to you in your search for a vaccine.

Each week the State of Texas releases a list of vaccine allocations via the Texas Department of Health and Human Services website.  This allocation list will let you know what shots are being distributed and where they are being distributed.  The weekly information is posted generally on Friday or Saturday for the following week.  Each location listed has their own website and method of registration.  Internet registration is the most frequent, but also provide for phone registration.  *** Important to know:  you are not required to be a resident of the county where you receive your vaccine.

Once you see where the vaccines are being sent for the week, locate that vaccine provider's website to find the details of when registration will open for that week.

In San Patricio County, both the San Patricio County Health Department and the Community Action Agency of South Texas are providing vaccines. You will also find that HEB, Walgreens, and certain doctors' offices might be other options for you.  To see where vaccines are available each week, check the weekly vaccine allocations.
