How to Request a Court-Appointed Attorney

At all critical phases of the criminal justice process, you have the right to be represented by an attorney.

If you would like an attorney to represent you in your case before the Court, but at this time you believe you cannot afford an attorney, you may request a Court-Appointed Attorney.  To request a Court-Appointed Attorney you will need to fill out an Affidavit of Indigence and a Request for a Court-Appointed Attorney. You will be required to provide all of your finical information and all of your contact information.

All of the Court appointments are done through the San Patricio County Pre-Trial Services Department.  For more information, please contact their office.
